As the name suggests, it is a great bag to take away on Retreat with you. It will fit all your sewing notions and then some...Don't want it as a Sewing bag; you could always leave out the Needlebook and Pincushion, add another pocket, and have a toiletries bag with enough room for all your bathroom needs.

A printable Template for the sides of the bag (Print at Actual Size in Adobe Reader)
Bag Features:
*The bag measures approximately 16" x 8" large enough to fit all your sewing notions.
* Eight Internal zipper Pockets -- including 1 mesh with Lace zip and 1 flat pocket on the lining. 
* Pincushion.
* Wide opening external zip for easy opening and access to your bag and acts as handles.
* enough room to fit a 6 x12" ruler and Cutting mat or even patterns under the 6 internal pockets.

Outer Fabric Including Pincushion, Flat pocket and Zipper 
Tabs- 2.5m
Lining Fabric includes binding- 1m or 1.8 if you make your inner pockets the same as your bag lining.

The inner Pocket fabric of your choice-- Fat Quarters will do for this; you can have as many colours as you like; I would have 6 different colours.
Lining for inner pockets -- 1.2m Homespun or fabric of your choice.
Zippers: sizes are listed in the pattern
